The NanoQAM Research Center has been managing 2 new pieces of equipment since this week. These are two new GPCs (from the Viscotek company) recently acquired by Prof. Jérome Claverie. This new equipment, which has been operational since the end of 2008, is accessible to everyone from now on.

The InterNano website, which is a platform for information and knowledge exchange concerning Nanotechnologies, has just reviewed the article by Jean-Christophe Daigle and Pr. Jerome Claverie published in Journal of Nanomaterials, Volume 2008.
The NanoQAM Research Center has been managing new equipment since the beginning of the week. It is an FTIR spectrometer (Thermo Nicolet 6700 FTIR) coupled to an FT-Raman module (Thermo Nicolet NXR 967 Edge Raman). This new equipment which was acquired by Pr. René Roy has been operational since July 07, 2008 and is accessible to everyone from now on.

The NanoQAM Research Center has been supporting two new pieces of equipment for a few weeks: a solvent purification system (MB-SPS MBraun) and a differential modulated calorimeter (DSC1 Mettler Toledo). These two new devices will be available to everyone from March.
On January 7, Télé-Québec launched a new scientific program: Le Code Chastenay. Hosted by Pierre Chastenay, this scientific magazine is interested in the impact, in our lives, of all new research in the various scientific fields.
Launched in fall 2013, the strategic research chairs program aims to support the development of research and creation at UQAM, in particular in so-called emerging, intersectoral or innovative fields.
