Among the researchers present during this Scientific Mission, Prof. Mohamed Siaj (Canada Research Chair on 2D materials) and Prof. Daniel Bélanger (UQAM Research Chair on advanced materials), of UQAM , were present to promote the science of nanomaterials and research on advanced materials
Professor Mathieu Frenette, member of NanoQAM obtained a grant from the John R. Evans Evans Fund of the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for the establishment of new research infrastructures and also additional financial assistance from the Government of Quebec as well as various partners.
Professor of the Department of Chemistry Mohamed Siaj, deputy director of the NanoQAM Research Center on nanomaterials and energy, is the holder of the Chair on two-dimensional materials for applications in the fields of chemical and biological sensors as well as detection .
