Differential modulated scanning calorimetry
Description of the instrument
Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is used to determine a wide range of physical properties of materials, such as glass transition temperature (Tg), melting temperature (Tm), and solid-solid transitions. In addition, the modulated DSC provides unique thermochemical data. overlapping events such as molecular relaxation and glass transitions can be separated. The heat capacity can also be measured directly with the modulated DSC. This equipment allows measurements to be made between -60°C and +600°C under a controlled atmosphere (N2 or air).
Model : Mettler Toledo, DSC 1
