Equipment for the manufacture of printed circuits
PCB manufacturing
Professor Dominic Deslandes from the Department of Computer Science at UQAM, the CoFaMic research center and the NanoQAM research center have just made a series of equipment available to various academic and industrial players in the fields of nanotechnologies and microelectronics. dedicated to the manufacture of printed circuits (PCB).
PCB engraver
This printed circuit engraver (PCB) allows the machining of different materials (FR4, plastic, teflon, Aluminum) and the complete manufacture of PCBs at a spindle speed of 60,000 rpm. It is equipped with a 15-position tool changer that automatically replaces milling and drilling tools during the manufacture of printed circuits. It allows the machining of patterns of the order of 100um on supports with dimensions between 5mmx5mm and 230mmx305mm.
Printed circuit manufacturing line
This machining line is a set of instruments allowing the complete manufacture of PCBs on different types of materials (Glass, silicon, FR4, Plastic, Ceramic). This machining line is made up of:
a laminator for resins (RLM419P)
a UV illumination unit (HELLAS)
a copper etching bath (JET34D)
a PCB cutting system (NECUT)
a press for plating rivets (FAVORIT)
and a hole punch (VARIODRILL)
This machining line allows the machining of patterns of the order of 30um on supports with dimensions between 5 mm x 5 mm and 300 mm x 300 mm.
Future uses
Anyone interested in using this particle size analyzer must first undergo training with Mr. Gwenaël Chamoulaud.
