SSRM Sample Mounting

Good electrical contact is required between the chuck and sample. Mount your sample to a standard sample disk, a magnetic puck or stage using conducting epoxy or silver paint. Preparation of a cross-section surface for SCM imaging is given in Sample Preparation. Note particularly the importance of avoiding skin contact with the sample surface of interest in Sample Cleaning Procedure.
