Women in Science – Laurence Savignac

In Canada, women represent less than a quarter of the workforce in science and technology.

To promote accessibility to higher education, break down stereotypes and stimulate the interest of young women in scientific fields, the Faculty of Sciences of UQAM presents this series of portraits of WOMEN IN SCIENCE.

During her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at UQAM, Laurence Savignac did an internship in a battery laboratory. This is the spark that ignites his passion for lithium batteries.
